Monoclonal antibody to human LBP - biG 43

Description

Category

Mouse monoclonal antibody - Protein G purified - lyophilized

Formulation

biG 43 was lyophilized from a concentrated protein solution (1mg/ml) containing phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.2 Content was determined by OD280nm

Reconstitution

For reconstitution, add 100 µl of sterile ultra-pure distilled water to each tube. This solution can then be diluted with phosphate buffered saline (PBS) or other buffers.

Isotype

IgG1

Antigen

LBP knock out mouse immunized with immunoaffinity purified recombinant human LBP,a 58KD glycoprotein.

Characteristic

Without inhibition of LPS binding to membrane bound CD14,

Binding titre at human LBP- ELISA: 1:150.000
Binding titre at bovine LBP-ELISA 1: 10 (good), up to 1:400 (detectable)

Application

ELISA, LBP inhibition studies, Western Blot

Storage

Long time storage at -20°C or -80°C

Quantity

0.1 mg without NaN3 or other stabilizations

IgG-content 1 mg/ml
Stability The lyophilized product thought stable room temperature up to 3 weeks, but is best stored desiccated at -70oC more than 1 year, at refrigerator about 10 months. Reconstituted protein should be used immediately or stored in undiluted working aliquots at -20°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% BSA). Repeated freezing and thawing should be avoided!!!
