Monoclonal antibody to human LBP - biG 48

Description

Category

Mouse monoclonal antibody - Protein G purified - lyophilized

Reconstitution

For reconstitution add 50 µl distilled water.

Isotype

IgG1

Antigen

LBP knock out mouse immunized with immunoaffinity purified recombinant human LBP,a 58KD glycoprotein.

Special note

It is a soluble acute-phase protein that binds to bacterial lipopolysaccharide (LPS) to elicit immune responses by presenting the LPS to CD14 and TLR4.

Characteristic

No inhibition of LPS binding to membrane bound CD14; Binding site is not directly involved in LBP-LPS-CD14 interaction.
Binding titre at human LBP- ELISA: 1:10.000.

Application

ELISA, LBP inhibition studies, Western Blot

Storage

Long time storage at -20°C or -80°C

Quantity

100 µg in PBS without NaN3 or other stabilisation before lyophilisation

IgG-content 2 mg/ml (determined by mouse IgG-ELISA)
