Category |
Mouse monoclonal antibody protein G purified lyophilized |
Reconstitution |
For reconstitution add 100 µl distilled water |
Isotype |
IgG2a |
Antigen |
CD14 knock out mouse immunized with recombinant mouse CD14 |
Special note |
biG 53 represents an excellent marker for mouse CD14. The CD14 glycoprotein, gp 55, is present on most monocytic and macrophage likes cell types: monocytes, macrophages, Kupffer cells, pleural phagocytic cells and dendritic reticular cells. CD14 is also observed on granulocytes and activated or transformed B-cells. Furthermore CD14 is present in a soluble form in mouse serum, urine and other body fluids. The CD14 molecule has been reported to be a receptor for Endotoxin. |
Characteristic |
Recognize LPS binding site at monocytes. Up to 10 µg/ml biG53 inhibit binding of LPS (0.5 µg/ml) to 6 x 105 CD14+CHO transfectants (FACS), Binding titre at mouse CD14 transfected CHO-cells: more than 20.000 (ELISA, Flow cytometry) |
Application |
Suitable for immunostaining of CD14 positive cells and inhibition studies, ELISA |
Storage |
Long time storage at -20°C or -80°C |
Quantity |
100 µg in PBS without NaN3 or other stabilisation before lyophilisation |
IgG-content | 1 mg/ml PBS (determined by mouse IgG-ELISA) |
