Monoclonal antibody to human LBP - biG 42

Description

Category

Mouse monoclonal antibody - Protein G purified - lyophilized

Reconstitution

For reconstitution add 100 µl distilled water.

Isotype

IgG1

Antigen

LBP knock out mouse immunized with immunoaffinity purified recombinant human LBP,a 58KD glycoprotein.

Special note

It is a soluble acute-phase protein that binds to bacterial lipopolysaccharide (LPS) to elicit immune responses by presenting the LPS to CD14 and TLR4.

Characteristic

Without inhibition of LPS binding to membrane bound CD14, binding titre at human LBP- ELISA: 1:10.000.
Binding site is not directly involved in LBP-LPS-CD14 interaction.

Application

ELISA, LBP inhibition studies, Western Blot, immune histochemistry

Storage

Long time storage at -20°C or -80°C

Quantity

100 µg in PBS without NaN3 or other stabilisation before lyophilisation

IgG-content 1 mg/ml PBS
