Monoclonal antibody to mouse LBP - biG 33

Description

Category

Mouse monoclonal antibody - Protein G purified - lyophilized

Reconstitution

For reconstitution add 100 µl distilled water to obtain 1mg/ml

Isotype

IgG1

Antigen

LBP knock out mouse immunized with recombinant mouse LBP

Special note

LBP is a soluble acute-phase protein that binds to bacterial lipopolysaccharide
(LPS) to elicit immune responses by presenting the LPS to CD14 and TLR4

Characteristic

Inhibits binding of LPS to membrane bound CD14,
(Inhibits LPS-binding (0.5 µg/ml) to CD14+CHO cells, (2 x 106/ml) up to 1:1000, total inhibition 1:5, and binding titre at mouse LBP- ELISA: 1:50.000, cross reacting with rat and human LBP

Application

ELISA, LBP inhibition studies, Western Blot

Storage

Long time storage at -20°C or -80°C

Quantity

100 µg in PBS without NaN3 or other stabilisation before lyophilisation

IgG-content 1 mg/ml PBS
